Open Router Login Page
Step-by-step instructions to find your gateway IP, log in using default keys, and resolve gateway errors.
Every home router houses an internal web server that hosts its administration control panel. You do not need active internet access or an external website to open this dashboard—your web browser communicates directly across the local network link to the router processor. Follow this guide to discover your gateway address and access the portal safely.
1 Connect to the Router Local Network
Before opening your web browser, ensure your device is actively communicating with the router:
Plug an Ethernet cable from your computer into LAN Port 1. Instant, reliable connection without passwords.
Connect to the factory default SSID printed on the rear sticker. Enter the factory PIN/passcode printed below it.
2 How to Find Your Default Gateway IP Address
If standard gateway addresses do not respond, check your device network configuration to see the exact gateway IP assigned by your router DHCP server:
C:\Users\You> ipconfig
Look for: Default Gateway . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
$ netstat -nr | grep default
Or check the "Router" field in TCP/IP settings.
Open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi, tap the (i) or gear icon next to your connected network name, and scroll down to the "Router" or "Gateway" entry.

Browser Shows "Cannot Reach This Page" or "Timed Out"?
-
Type into the Address Bar, not Google: Type the numeric IP address (e.g.
http://192.168.1.1) directly into the topmost URL address bar, not into the Google/Bing search box. - Disable VPN and Proxy Software: Active VPN clients route all network traffic through encrypted tunnels, preventing your computer from reaching the local router IP. Disconnect VPN temporarily.
- Turn off Mobile Cellular Data on Phones: If configuring from an iPhone or Android, temporarily disable Cellular Mobile Data so your browser does not fall back to 5G/4G.
- Bypass SSL Certificate Warnings: If your browser displays "Your connection is not private" (HTTPS error), click Advanced ➔ Proceed to IP (Unsafe). This is normal for local private network interfaces.
Next Step: Configure Wi-Fi Name & Password
Once inside the admin dashboard, personalize your wireless SSID and set WPA3/WPA2 security.
